Reset a Fi Base

There are circumstances where you will need to reset your Fi Base during troubleshooting.

Please note that the Fi Series 3 Base is compatible with Series 3 and Series 3+ trackers.

How to Reset Your Fi Base

The reset steps depend on which Fi Series Tracker you have. Follow the steps below:

Fi Series 3 Base

To reset a Fi Series 3 Base:

1. Unplug your Fi Base.
2. Find the reset button, a small circle on the back of the Fi Base next to the micro-USB port.
3. With the Fi Base unplugged, hold down the reset button.
4. Continue to hold down the reset button while plugging the Fi Base back into a working outlet.
5. After plugging in, hold the button for five more seconds.
6. The Fi Base Light will flash yellow, indicating the Fi Base has been reset.
7. If needed, update the Wi-Fi network on your Fi Base after the reset. Visit How Do I Update the Wi-Fi for My Fi Base?

Fi Series 2 or Series 1 Base

To reset a Fi Series 2 or Series 1 Base:

1. Unplug your Fi Base from your outlet.
2. Keep it unplugged for 1 minute.
3. Plug your Fi Base back in to your outlet.
