All Fi Trackers are waterproof. However, the Fi Series 3+ tracker has a different waterproof rating than the Fi Mini.
Fi Series 3+
Fi Series 3+ trackers were tested to the IP68 standard underwater. This means your dog can swim in salt, fresh, and chlorinated water. These trackers can be submerged in water up to 1.5m deep for up to 30 minutes. Please note, we recommend cleaning your Fi tracker after swimming.
Additionally, the Series 3+ is tested to the IP66K standard, meaning a water jet can spray it at 150PSI in a 1/4" stream up to 3 minutes without causing damage.
Fi Mini
As with the Fi Series trackers, the Fi Mini was tested to the IP68 standard underwater. This means your pet can swim in salt, fresh, and chlorinated water. The Fi Mini can be submerged in water up to 1.5m deep for up to 30 minutes. Please note that we recommend cleaning your Fi tracker after swimming and waiting until the tracker is completely dry before charging.
