Fi Devices can connect directly to Wi-Fi networks, allowing you to stay connected and track your pet anytime, anywhere.
If you do not have a Wi-Fi connection at home, we do not recommend using Fi.
When connected to Wi-Fi, your device has longer battery life, better signal coverage, and faster, more reliable escape detection.
Extended Coverage and Network Options
If you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can also track your pet when they are out of range of a Fi Base. For example, this may happen if you live in a larger home or complex. You might also be at a location where you cannot be connected to your pet via Bluetooth, such as a daycare center, but you can connect their device to their daycare Wi-Fi.
Your pet's device can connect with up to 6 networks simultaneously.
