Fi Levels celebrates how far your pet has come. Every pet earns a level based on the total number of steps their Fi device has recorded over their whole time on Fi. As your pet keeps moving, they climb from one level to the next, all the way up to Galaxy.
Please note that Fi Levels will be released on a rolling basis.
Your pet's level is permanent. It never resets, and it never goes down.

How Fi Levels works
Your pet's level reflects their lifetime activity, so it grows steadily as they walk, run, and play. A few things worth knowing:
- There are twelve levels, starting at Wood and reaching up to Galaxy.
- With Fi Levels, your pet's current step history already counts. They start at the level their past activity has earned rather than at zero.
Fi Levels is separate from rankings and step goals. Those track recent activity and can change week to week, while a level lasts for your pet's lifetime.
The Levels and Step Count
Each level begins at a set number of lifetime steps. Your pet reaches the next level once their lifetime total passes that number.
| Level | Lifetime steps to reach it |
|---|---|
| Wood | 0 |
| Clay | 15,000 |
| Stone | 100,000 |
| Iron | 375,000 |
| Bronze | 750,000 |
| Silver | 3,000,000 |
| Gold | 6,500,000 |
| Titanium | 12,000,000 |
| Emerald | 20,000,000 |
| Sapphire | 30,000,000 |
| Diamond | 50,000,000 |
| Galaxy | 100,000,000 |
Where to find your pet's level
You will see your pet's level in a few places across the Fi app.
Your pet's profile
Your pet's level appears on their profile, along with a progress bar showing how close they are to the next level. Each level has its own trophy.
The welcome screen
When Fi Levels arrives, you will see a one-time welcome screen introducing the feature. If your pet is already past Wood, this shows the level they have earned so far.
Week in Review
Your weekly recap now includes your pet's level. In a week where your pet reaches a new level, Week in Review celebrates it. In other weeks, it shows how many steps your pet took and how close they are to the next level.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the questions members ask most about Fi Levels.
How does my pet level up?
Your pet levels up as their Fi device records more steps over their lifetime. Once their lifetime total passes the next level's number, they move up. The more your pet moves, the higher they climb.
Can my pet lose a level?
No. Levels are permanent. Once your pet earns a level, they keep it for life.
My pet passed a new level, so why have I not seen a celebration yet?
Level celebrations appear a little while after your pet passes a new level, rather than the very moment it happens. If you do not see it right away, it is on its way.
How was my pet's starting level decided?
Your pet's whole step history on Fi counts toward their lifetime total. Their starting level reflects the steps they have already earned, so they do not begin at zero.
Does my cat have a level?
Fi Levels is for dogs. Cats are not included in Fi Levels or in Fi rankings.
What happens to my pet's level if I transfer their Fi device?
Your pet keeps their lifetime steps and their level through a transfer.
