When you are trying to connect your Fi Base or Fi tracker to Wi-Fi, you might need to access your MAC ID. This is a unique 12-digit ID used to identify the tracker or base on your network. You can find your MAC ID within the Fi App.
Locating Your MAC ID Before Activation
When you activate a new tracker, prompts to set up your Fi tracker will be given. Once you are prompted to add a Wi-Fi Network, your MAC ID will be shown to you:

To locate the MAC ID for your Fi tracker or Fi Base after activation, follow the steps below.
Locating Your Fi Tracker MAC ID
To find your tracker's MAC ID:

In the Fi App, tap your pet's profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Settings Menu:

Tap on Your Pack.

Tap on the pet whose tracker you need to find the MAC ID for:

Tap on the tracker in their profile page.

Tap the information icon in the top-right corner. This will open a menu with information, including the MAC ID.
Locating Your Fi Base MAC ID
To find your Fi Base's MAC ID:

In the Fi App, tap your pet's profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Settings Menu:

Tap on Your Pack.

Scroll down to the Bases section and tap the Base you need to find the MAC ID for.

Tap the information icon in the top-right corner. This will open a menu with information, including the MAC ID.
